Brooke Thiele Email: Swelstad@uwm.edu Artist statement: As an artist I’m constantly questioning myself, and myself within the context of the world around me. Consequently, my motivations tend to reveal themselves from the inside out. The resulting work serves to illustrate my struggles to express these relationships; working not within the confines of one medium, but rather exploring several, including animation, film, mixed media installations, and performance.
